The Studio of Laurie Nelson
Presents:

Saturday, August 15
at 8:00 PM
Location: The Lyceum 201 S Washington St, Alexandria, VA 22314

An ode to our marvelous museums and iconic artists, history is calling and it's bringing music. Statues & Stories highlights the timeless role of art as both witness and interpreter and honors the places in which we remember. On this summer evening at the Alexandria History Museum, don't be surprised if the statues start singing!
Who's Who: Featuring students of Laurie Nelson and performances by several teaching artists of NM Productions.
Accessibility: The Lyceum has accessible restrooms and an elevator. The venue is on the second floor. Parking is found on the street and nearby garages. We suggest reserving your garage spot ahead of time, with attention to the garage hours.
Ages: We LOVE babies, but formal concerts are best enjoyed at 6 years and older. If you bring a small child, please seat yourself at the back and remove your sweetie if they make noise. Our concerts are recorded.
Note for performers: Sound checks
start at 5:00
See the Participation Guidelines for instrumental rehearsal dates (pianist/guitar). A vocal rehearsal for the large ensemble is scheduled for Sunday, August 9. Please search your email.
